Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

That is true. I am still not sure why the doors don't stay fully open, to the full extent of their travel. I am sure there are other door checks which would accomplish that but finding which vehicle could be fitted would be quite the undertaking.

Looks great! The fender flare support is a good idea. I like the flag flying on the garage.
Whats on the rear diif cover?

Our great flag is always flying at my house and lit at night. I replace it every year since the AZ sun destroys everything!

The rear diff protector is a Purple Cranium diff protector.

Default Have some questions-Just about to start my H2 build

Bone stock '08 Ultra Marine addition, with 325/60 R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, 10 x 20 Moto Metal wheels, after market brush guard & nerf bars, front window tint.
First of all, all your work on getting the pictures and information loaded is appreciated more than you can imagine. As someone who has only had their truck a few months and just getting started, your pics and information have been the single most informative source I have found. I too want to modify some suspension components and do the lift that you have done. Would there be some way I could contact you directly with a few questions?

Default Seeing double?

Did I just accidentally submit my last post twice? What a knucklehead . Sorry about that, you can tell I've never posted on forums before. Still learning.

You can start a new thread with all your questions-that way more members see it instead of them having to come to my build thread or private message me. I think you'll need some more posts before you can private message though.

OK, when I get a little time later today I will attempt to do that.

I don't know why the pics are so gigantic, I thought they would autoresize?

Nice! You recently replaced those old bump stops too I see... Those actually improve the ride as the H2 actually rides on those a small amount. Nice garage floor too - I need to epoxy mine.....
