Leak worry
I have been going through my new to me 07 H2 and I found that the front padding was wet. I checked because of all the post I read here. I called the dealer and he said that they did have it completely detailed and they had probably done the carpets.. i checked the corner marker lights and the rubber plugs were like new but I went ahead and sealed them with some black silicone... under the door trim was clean and white and does not look like water had been sitting in there and the sunroof drains like it should and there was no dampness on the headliner or dash so I hope it was the carpets being shampooed... any thoughts?
other than than that I love it and can’t wait to show her off!

It can leak from the middle marker lights as well not just the corners. My door seals looked ok but they were leaking from the top, I had to silicone the top of them to get it to stop. Another possibility is the seal under the cowl rotting can cause water to pour into the carpets. You should probably verify that you have a leak though before you take the time to take the cowl off.
