So.... Anyone ever seen one or have any idea where exactly it might be mounted? It is a fire extinguisher bracket for an H2 but none of the parts stuff shows exactly where it would be installed or anything. I like the idea and since it was cheap (and I was ordering some other parts) I went ahead and ordered one. It would be nice to know exactly where they intended it to be mounted as well as specifically what fire extinguisher is used and how that attached to the bracket.

Oh and if anyone else wants to try or whatever the first part number for the "rivet" comes with the bracket when you order the second part number, 15249408 and it is only about $20 so you do not need to order both. I'm going to poke around this weekend and see if I can figure where it might attach. Its about 4 inches wide by probably 18 inches long. I'll take a pic of the actual bracket with an exact measurement as well and If I can actually determine where it goes I'll also of course post that.

My initial thought was mounting to some part of the internal spare tire bracket but just a complete guess.

 

I looked all around and could not really figure it out. I do not have the inside spare tire mount installed but I do have it. I might try setting that back inside in place and see if that is a possibility. I looked everywhere else including under the hood and no luck.
