I replaced mine and you have to replace the nut as well, they are one time use. Part number for the O-ring I believe is 15017464. Nut is 11609826.

thx! yeah i orderded 2 nuts, not sure what to do about the missing o ring on my one side
ill fit the o ring on the driver side when i get to replacing the hub this weekend but i dont really want to go back and reinstall a o ring on the opposite side

The O-ring is a safety feature for those that neglect their ride(I've never used them). Protects the grease from the wheel bearing when overheated, DUE TO WORN OUT BEARING/AND OR BRAKES BINDING/OVERHEATING, causing the the grease, to turn into a liquid, from getting onto the brake rotor, causing a potential brake failure.

thanks! I really had no idea....o-ring must be buried super stuck to the inside of the knuckle.

i replaced the drivers side last night and still couldn’t find it.

now I know

just curious here....your statement in parenthesis.....are you saying you have never changed out o-rings when replacing hubs?
