Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hassel ordering GM parts for a Hummer H2 which is basically a chevy 2500 truck
I forsee another hassle just ordering parts so ppl don't understand this is a GM vehicle.
Want to replace the left front wheel speed sensor. I've been informed the wires are too thin to splice back together an will send fake infor to the ECU.
This seller says it doesn’t fit.
I believe it doe’s fit. dam
Should I just tell them it’s a chevy 2500 silverado?
well actuely they refer to there parts as Brand universeparts which everyone knows is counterfeited ebay is fine w/ but theve sold over 160 so it must be a decent knock off.
I thought the same thing with part numbers for brake lines. 06-07 have the same part numbers on rock auto but what showed up was two completely different parts.
In case you need to know 08 2500 4wd silverados and 08 hummer h2s do have the same brake lines at least in the front.
Just a thought about eBay Hummer parts. I have had so many problems with eBay items not fitting properly I have started to purchase parts from Amazon. Pricing is usually about the same but if it doesn’t fit you just send it back and look again for the correct part on Amazon. I just went through the same thing with a tractor and my boat. One can also find that a part will be there the next day or too. Just an observation.
they are different. the H2 ones are stitched into the leather and the leather mounting points velcro / clips to the seat frame /cushion positions are different. but you can overlook that if you wish. i believe the electrical connector is the same then just sandwich them in and hope they stay in place with loose leather.or get creative.
You have to cut the old ones off the leather skins. Then you have to use 3M spray glue on the new ones. You can not just slip them in. Or they will move around and get damaged.
There is a reason they are sewn onto the seat skin.
The suppliers should have installation videos which show you that….
I never trust the part numbers that are listed on different sites. To make sure I get the correct parts I call a GM Dealer parts department and give them the VIN #. There are always changes in Mfg dates and years. Happened to day. I have a Intermittent "Crankshaft Positioning Sensor". Went on the web and looked around and found 3 different part numbers. Call my local Chevy dealer and He gave me the correct number and had it in stock, Genuine GM made in America.
