Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default I’m at 447k and still going

Just a boring update just passed 447k and the beast still runs great. Yeah it’s constant work and $$ but I think it’s worth it. 53k more to go to break that half a mill mark. Can’t wait. Happy Hollidays and I hope you all enjoy your ride as much as I do.

Pretty impressive! Especially for an H2

And a big Congrats on staying poor due to all the fuel $ you spent, LOL!
There goes your kids’ inheritance.

Fantastic, while there are a lot of GM forums that say 200k on a GM 2500 platform is status quo going to well over 400k is major accomplishment!

As they say in the StarTrek work, live long and prosper! Hope it makes it to a million miles! What a tribute to good quality parts and engineering and most important owner care!

First motor still? First transmission? If not, curious to know how many miles you got out of each!

a little history on this 05 H2: the first engine made it to about 200k. While the truck was being worked on, the shop destroyed the engine and it was replaced for free. as far as I know, the transmission was replaced at around 380k miles (give or take some, can’t recall) I replaced it with a used one that had about 50k miles on it. I’m not sure if that was ever replaced before. I’m still in shock that it’s driving so smooth.

Btw I only know of another 03 H2 that had about 457k miles but that was a few years back. I wonder if it put more miles or not, that was from another website that tracks mileages. That site has not been update in a long time either. Either way would be nice to break that 500k.
