Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Get rid of that Onstar in your dash for some storage!

Yes - I "think" there is. I've been trying to find one for about a year now.... I put think in quotes because the only way to know for sure is to get one. They were made for the GM trucks and SUV's without the rear seat audio. The H2 never had the pocket as an option so my only thought it there might be an issue with the depth of the pocket. Otherwise it would snap right in perfectly. The 03-06 GM trucks and SUV's use the identical rear seat audio controls so the pocket, theoretically will fit. Just like the pocket where the Onstar module goes in the dash, it is now impossible to find one and that was a part specific to the H2. Its even worse for the pocket to delete the rear audio controls as probably 75% of every single 2003-2006 GM truck or SUV still on the road has had its stock stereo replaced rendering the rear audio controls useless - as such the owners of those trucks and SUV's have already bought all of the pockets up over the past several years. I'd be willing to pay up to even $40 or $50 for the pocket. Just cannot find one.

The pocket is GM part #15189381
There is also a little rubber mat that goes in it which is part #15178619

Good luck finding one though. From what I can tell about the only place you will find either is at a junkyard. Most likely a pickup as those will be less likely to have the rear seat audio controls then the SUV's. Plus, even at that, there is still a chance it might not fit for some reason. I think it will though.

Hey Doc, I’m trying a 3D printed pocket with all the space taken up, so we’ll see how it comes out.

Coffey I would be interested in knowing how that turns out as well! Glad to see people are still working on improving this issue! The replacement part is now $60 online.

Awesome!!!!! That's definitely now on my list of things to get. I sent him a message asking what are the odds he can print a similar one for the 2nd row radio.

Nice - I like that he designed it to better utilise all of the space in there versus the factory pocket (I showed pics of it earlier in the thread). He also left the top back open which is nice if you have an aftermarket stereo with a USB input which you can then extend into that pocket and added a support stud on the back. I actually kept the factory pocket I bought just to have in case I ever want to use it but I just did the carpet lining I showed earlier as it gives far more storage space than the factory pocket does. I guess you could also sand the face a bit to smooth that up some as well.
