Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hi.
I'm a total Hummer noob, so I am sure this is something many of you can answer.
I have tried to attach a picture to documet it, hope it shows.
I bought my Hummer a week ago, and the warning light with the exclamation mark (!) just came on. I have browsed through the manual, and all I can see in there is the exclamation mark (!) together with the (P) or BRAKE.
But there is no P or BRAKE lighting up next to it.
I hope the answer is as obvious as I think.
When I start the engine, it says "ICE POSSIBLE" on the dash.
Is this (!) related to the ice message or are they two separate warnings?
Is this exclamation mark just telling me to pay attention to the ICE POSSIBLE message?
Brake System Warning Light
With the ignition on, the brake system warning light
comes on when the parking brake is set. If the vehicle
is driven with the parking brake engaged, a chime
sounds when the vehicle speed is greater than
5mph. ICE POSSIBLE DRIVE WITH CARE
This message displays when ice conditions are possible
@Leonberger
The (O) symbol is a brake drum with its two brake shoes. For those who remember what drum brakes were on cars. Drums are still used on some e-brakes.
If you have been driving with that light on, chances are your parking brake is toast. Have it inspected.
Seeing as you have km/hr on the dash you probably have a Canadian h2. Manual says that’s for the parking brake being engaged or you have a brake issue.
