Default Elettric problem Hummer h2 Milano Italy

I bought a Hummer h2 a few months ago here in Italy, here it is not a very used car and therefore few mechanics are able of repairing it. Especially the electrical part. I think the person who sold it to me changed the ignition and the key to turn it on. The car has many electronic problems, sometimes it is enough to insert the key without turning it and the car starts by itself or suddenly turns off when it is already on. Even the radio suddenly turns on or off by itself. Can anyone help me or point me to a good auto electrician man who can help an Italian auto electrician man working in video call.. Sorry for my bad English ciao Marco

That sucks bro,

First of do a diagnostic on it while trying to turn it on and off a few times.
Secondly, you didn’t notice anything like this before you bought it?

IMO, it’s going to be tough without you having any knowledge about the system or knowing a good mechanic.
Maybe a retired Ferrari guru is a option but it will cost you a lot of pizzas 🤷🏼‍♂️🍕😂

What Bronx said, the electrical portion of the ignition switch should be changed, eliminate any non factory alarm or wiring, Check for water damage at the fuse box, ground cables under the hood.

It seems you're dealing with some complex electrical problems with your Hummer H2, potentially involving the ignition system, wiring, or even the vehicle's computer system. Considering the rarity of the Hummer H2 in Italy, I hope you can find a mechanic who specializes in electrical systems or has experience working with Hummer vehicles. As a first step, have you reached out to the original owner to see if they know of such a mechanic, Marco?

Your best bet will probably be any shop that works on GM vehicles. The ignition switch and related components are the same as the GM/Chevrolet pickups and SUVs and Cadillac escalades.

I just did a quick Google search and there's a lot of them.... Should be able to find one in your area. (What area of Italy are you in?)
