Electrical problems. Radio, gauges, and windows won’t work while on
Agreed - the BCM (body control module) is basically up against the firewall behind the left dash vent, light switch, etc. NOT easy to remove/replace and you do not want water getting into it. I still suspect it could be the ignition cylinder switch or a ground problem. Could be one of the grounds in the dash, down by the kick panel, under the drivers door against the frame, etc.
Did you every figure out the electrical problem? I’m having the same issue
They just turned off at once all of a sudden. While engine cranked they will not turn on, if you just turn the key forward one notch to engage they will be functional but once I turn the car on they completely shut off and the battery and ABS light turn on. I’ve heard that the h2 has common electrical problems just wondering if any of y’all have encountered this and what did you did to fix the problem . Thanks in advance ! John
Inspect and test the wiring going from the door to the car. It seems possible there may be an issue there as well as with the door switches themselves on the door. Probably worth a check since they sometimes get wet and are known to go bad, and because the windows work from the back.
