Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Any signs of water intrusion? You should eliminate those lights for now before you ruin the battery.

Water is not good for connections and modules! Stop the leak, dry it out, and clean the connections and bcm. In the meantime eliminate any battery draw, and check all fuses.

Agreed - the BCM (body control module) is basically up against the firewall behind the left dash vent, light switch, etc. NOT easy to remove/replace and you do not want water getting into it. I still suspect it could be the ignition cylinder switch or a ground problem. Could be one of the grounds in the dash, down by the kick panel, under the drivers door against the frame, etc.

I’ve heard that the h2 has common electrical problems just wondering if any of y’all have encountered this and what did you did to fix the problem . Thanks in advance ! John

Inspect and test the wiring going from the door to the car. It seems possible there may be an issue there as well as with the door switches themselves on the door. Probably worth a check since they sometimes get wet and are known to go bad, and because the windows work from the back.
