Driving H2 into remote places ( spare parts lost )
One other note.... Depending on how radical the terrain is you anticipate, it may be desirable to take the side steps off. That will give you a couple extra inches of clearance. There convenient for Street use obviously, but advantageous to remove if you do a lot of off road.
I would carry an extra encoder motor that bolts onto the rear end of the transfer case and changes the range. They do tend to go bad, they're not too expensive, and all you need is 10 minutes and a 10 mm socket to swap it out. They do seem to last longer if they're frequently used to change the transfer case range. If I remember correctly, the general recommendation was at least once a month to run it through all the ranges.

got that’s spare motor that switches to 4x4
i got Dmax tie rods ends
And sway bar links
Radiator is on its way to me now ( evil energy brand )
original wheels are out back
all the fluids been changed,
belt changed
next Is AC system,
not blowing cold and from the main forward vent.
So far I really like this H2
we will see how it does off road, nothing crazy
but moderate.
I am concerned about roof rack cross bars.
looks like this thing is attached to the plastic piece with two tiny screws on each side,
how’s is this safe to have 200 lb weight bouncing up and down on washboard roads ?
i am working to adjusting myself that this is not an H1 to be able to stand on the roof or hood or hold 1500 lb on the roof.
but getting there slowly.

it’s getting mounted today,
of course we have the starlink as well to have full communication.
inside of the rear disc drums. you need to remove the rotors to adjust the pads.why they didnt just make an inspection hole on the face of the rotor or on the backing plate blows my mind. you adjust it as you would drum brakes.
