Cat back options
I yes they are being clearanced out. I noticed the tag inside the box that it was manufactured in 2012. But definitely just the piping is 100% a steal, even if you wanted a different Muffler. But for the looks, the quality welds and the factory sound plus the wife being happy, I can't complain
lol, less than the price of one tire!

Fortunately I live in a rural area and the nearest place that requires DEQ testing is 70 Mi away. I compared the muffler supplied with the factory, same dimensions except it has the two outlets.
I've been trying to return this H2 to stock configuration the past couple months, and my only concern was losing some MPG compared to the AFE Cat-Back system that was on here, along with the cold air intake. I also deleted the cold air intake and reverted back to the factory air filter and the box. Interestingly, I can feel no difference in power yet I gained a little on the miles per gallon.
Quite happy with this H2 after spending a couple months going through it. When I got it it had oil leaks from the rear main, oil pan, valve covers and the engine Valley cover. I've replaced all sensors, starter, alternator, upgraded to the 6.2 style valve cover with the better PCV design. Aluminum radiator, new input and output shaft seals on the transfer case, new greaseable U-joints, new oil cooler lines, LED lights, a new ACDelco PCM that supersedes the original part number. Replace the gear oil in both differentials , as well as Dexron 6 in the transfer case and transmission . Runs absolutely perfect now and I will probably keep it forever. Oh yeah, new AC Delco fuel pump and discovered what looked like the original external fuel filter which I also replaced at the front of the tank, and a new fuel pressure regulator. New AC compressor which was leaking, all new belts and hoses and I'm running Rotella ELC for the coolant, with a new coolant reservoir as well. Went ahead and did the mass air flow sensor when I redid the intake back to stock, new Bosch platinum plugs and plug wires. The only thing still original are the injectors and the coils. It actually drives as well or better than our 2014 Escalade. Except the Escalade gets about 18 miles per gallon average, can't beat that with a 6.0

Fuel mileage isn't really an issue, as this is just an extra vehicle to use when I'm working on one of our other two. Plus when it snows. Wife is already planning to drive it when I pull her 6.2 out of the Escalade and go through engine while I delete the AFM DOD. Figured I'd go ahead and go for a new bearings, including the cam bearings before I slide that l9h camshaft in. I've had her AFM DOD turned off at the ECM for 2 years now, but the local dealer tells me it's rare for the AFM lifters to make it past 200,000 miles and she's at 163,000 right now
