Visited national chain muffler shop and they suggested installing a Flopro muffler (stainless) on H3(3.7l) to get a deeper sound without the cabin drone. Anyone have experience with FloPro mufflers.

No experience w/ them, but looks nice, how much were they gonna charge you?

 

$115 installed for the FloPro muffler (Midas)

 

Single inlet dual outlet? (twin tip) or single in/out? Aluminized piping or stainless? Cat back or just replacing the muffler? If you didn't ask them, do so. It's a fair price, but not if they're just installing a muffler...

 

This price was just installing the muffler, single outlet, didn't ask about tips. I didn't want to spend the $ on a complete catback system at this time, just wanting a performance muffler that will add a little more growl to the 3.7l without cabin drone.

 

Gotcha, I think that price is a little on the higher side, but not by much, for sh*ts and giggles why dont you ask them how much for making it into a cat back... cant hurt lol...
