Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

I've had a wheel sensor short to ground and cause a lot of issues with the modules and communications, start with the speed sensors then check to see if the other code clears.

Default Brake light or parking brake comes on 08-09 h2 sut

Hello HUMMER community. I wanted to know has anybody experienced this issue with their H2. Whenever I park my H2 on a steep incline, I utilize the parking brake relieve pressure on the transmission parking mechanism. Today after using the parking brake feature on my H2, the parking mechanism did not fully disengage causing the parking brake light to stay illuminated. After playing around with the parking brake feature, I was able to get the parking lever to fully disengage but the parking light stays on. Now, soon as I start driving my H2, the warning chime comes on until I bring my H2 to a complete stop. Has anybody experienced this issue? If so, were you able to get it fixed?

If its like other GM trucks, place your foot under the E-brake pedal and while pulling the release lift up on the pedal.
My H2 has not done it but I've owned other trucks that have.
The light switch is usually on the pedal somewhere, I could be wrong on this as I haven't had to mess with the switch on my H2

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I'll keep working before I have to take her to a repair shop.
