Blown radiator recommendations

Great.. glad to hear you got it in. My 09 on normal summer days runs around 180 to 190 on tranny temps after driving a while. They say that the fluid is at optimal temp when around 190. So it sounds like your good to go. 
BTW what is that What looks like a Hook or eyelet welded to the rad for in the first pic?

I'll have to look a my GM Rad to see if I have one. It maybe just a feed thru for a hose or wiring???
