Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Ok I found this page...But I would also call a Chevy dealer and ask for the part number just to double check...
Check this one first: Cheap!! Call them and make sure....!! This guy (Scroll to the bottom ..might be stuck with this in stock and wants to bail... Call and check for shipping and part number fit and price. https://www.gmpartscenter.net/oem-pa...iator-15841574
Be cool used to make an aluminum replacement for the H2s. I called them directly a while back because they're fairly local to me (Essexville, MI) and was pretty much brushed off. Whoever I talked to told me to "try Jegs" and other online retailers to see if any of them may have them in stock, they didn't. I got the impression he really wasn't interested in building me one let alone selling me anything.
Ok finally got the radiator done. Works great, came with all the correct fittings for engine/trans oil cooler lines and required no trimming to fit. The radiator is 2-1/4” thick, so more than double the factory one. It took me forever because I tried to replace the oil cooler lines and gave up because you definitely have to drop the front differential to do it on these trucks. Just doing the radiator isn’t a hard job at all. The hardest part is reinstalling the oil cooler lines. I could only get mine to go in by removing the clips and hammering them in(with care) from the 90 degree bend with a rubber mallet. Side note: if you ever loose the plastic retainer that goes over the c clip in the connectors on the radiator THOSE ARE IMPORTANT! The clips can wiggle themselves out. Instead of trying to find some I used a hoseclamp in their place.
I used a 3 row radiator from radiator express
this one… https://www.radiatorexpress.com/prod...222920/1441629
Sku:222920 for $350. It says radiator express brand, but it was delivered in a destroyed, wide open Champion Cooling Systems box.
They have a ton of different radiators from cheap Chinese ones to $1100 custom USA made ones. I called them and their customer service is fantastic. They were able to arrange second day shipping for me although their default free shipping is already pretty fast.
I’d like to point out that I don’t think the radiator I ordered has an orfice in the bypass tube, so warm up time is a bit longer than before. I suspect it could be an issue this winter on cold days. If it is, I’ll go buy a needle valve and put it inline.
Another thing is that this is a three row radiator. After purchasing I’ve read that the 2 rows cool better in most cases because coolant flows better through larger tubes. However I would think that the three row offers more contact area between coolant and radiator. It would be interesting to hear anyone’s thoughts.
Lastly, I haven’t tested it thoroughly, but my transmission temperature looks much lower. Usually it sits just above 200 with normal driving. With the new radiator, it hasn’t reached over 190 and mostly stays in the 170 range.

Great.. glad to hear you got it in. My 09 on normal summer days runs around 180 to 190 on tranny temps after driving a while. They say that the fluid is at optimal temp when around 190. So it sounds like your good to go.
BTW what is that What looks like a Hook or eyelet welded to the rad for in the first pic?
