Blower fan not working on all speeds

I don't really know any details. I would think the new resistor made the connection not get so hot. Obviously they also replace the connector since by the time the problem happens, it is already messed up. But I would think it would be worthwhile for someone facing this issue to go see a dealer and/or call Hummer because they are fixing them for free... And I've had enough horror stories in the past with cobbled up wiring harnesses on cars I have bought that I would just as soon leave mine alone.
As far as the fan goes, even though the issue is fixed I am not going to use the 4 setting for very long at a time if at all because that is what causes the problem in the first place. I figure 3 will work just fine for me.

I plugged in a new resistor from O'Riley today and still got the same issue... so I replaced the relay too.. still same issue... works on 1-2 and 3... got nothing on high or setting 4. the connectors look perfect, no burns on the connectors... what next to try... trying to stay away from the dealer if possible....
