Got a great deal in place on my first H2. Color combo I want and under 70k miles. Only issue with the truck is the airbag sensor. Dealer or I can't not find one anywhere. With that being the only issue would you all take the plunge anyway?

front impact sensor availability has become a major problem.

They usually fail because water and corrosion invade the sensor causing the electronics inside to fail, sadly there are not substitutes yet.


The design is upside-down as mounting tube forms a moisture trap.



Perhaps a used one from breakers yard but be careful to match the part number?

I will be moving and need to sell my bike and 06' H2 SUT but my air bag light came one; scan shows a B0103 electronic front end (sensor 2) performance code. Someone mentioned a bad ground but I don't know much about any of this stuff. Replacing a part is easy if its available but tracing ground wires not so much. I looked at my sensor and it appears fine, no corrosion or anything; she is a GA / FL truck. Either way, looks like I'm stuck with an error but how much should that realistically take off from the price of the truck?
