Default Air Bag ECU

Hello all

Got home from a 3-month trip overseas last night and found my Airbag light is on the scanner says it is B1000 which is the ECU, the tech 2 says it part number 15172749 and a new part number
12231750

If I can find one of these does the dealer have to reprogram it also is this item where diagrams say it is under the driver's seat? I saw some places on the internet it states its in the engine compartment or under the center console.

Everything else on vehicle is working fine

Thanks

SDM is under drivers seat, check/clean connections/ check wiring first.

That sounds like you found one of the seat motors.....

The ECU is attached to the floor under the carpet. Not sure if you can get to it without removing the seat or not.

I don't use 12 point! 12pt sockets round off bolts/nuts..Save time and $, only use 6-point!
