Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Add a Supercharger at 120k, bad idea?

Thanks for the info. The knock sensor for the 6.2L seems different than previous years. It's part number: 12623730 but I can't figure out where on the engine it is located. I'm assuming I need 2?

Yeah my bad, completely skipped over the 6.2 part. In doing a quick look online it looks like the knock sensor (just 1) is on the bottom right side of the block when look from the front. It should be next to the crank sensor. And it looks like it is part number GM 12623730. So then looks like you really dont have anything else to replace while you're in the valley.

make sure your valley pan bolts are tight and torqued to spec. they sometimes loosen up on the 6.2

The thing that I noticed and have seen some posts on the net about on the L92 is the block is cast with the DOD/AFM bosses in the valley (not used). There are seals that fit on the underside of the valley cover to block the oil passages that are known to get hard from the heat and leak causing lower than normal oil pressure. Mine were no exception to this issue, they are not cheap when replaced with OEM parts so if you remove the intake I would at least pull the valley cover and inspect the seals.

@legerwn thanks, I add a new valley gasket to my list of items.

I'm in the process of getting new gaskets for the parts of the install that require the re-use of the original gaskets. I'm having a hard time finding the GM part number for the intake manifold gasket, any help would be appreciated. I did find the MAHLE MS19598 which sounds like it fits, but I'd prefer the OEM if I can get it.

Let's see how this goes. I got it to improve towing up hills at elevation. This won't work if heat becomes an issue.

Thanks for sharing, but I still haven't found the 2008 intake manifold gasket part number.
