Default 2nd Battery AGM in vehicle ?

I take my H2 out a lot on trails and weekend adventures, with that I run a fridge and some other items I was curious if anyone has put an AGM battery behind the rear interior trim panels? I thought of installing the battery there to include the CTEK 250A DC to DC charger, while accomodating a custom power panel to go where the pocket on the interior panel is. I'm overseas and can't look at my Rig but looking online at pictures under the trim it seems the wheel wells don't have much of an arch in fact they look pretty flat.

Thanks

agm are spill proof so you can mount them any way you want. even laying down under the rear seats. if you do not have the air ride compressor you can probably fab something there as well save the troubles of removing interior trim.

That option was on my list, I need to take measurements once I get home, I like this option as I can have easy access for the fuse box there too. I hope there is room under one of the seats.

Appreciate the input

Does anyone know if the h2 has body access plugs in the rear passenger or cargo area floor pans, I would go look myself but I'm in Afghanistan till early fall. I'm making diagrams up for my aux battery and wanted a clean install. Thanks in advance

Nevermind I think I found the answer looks like just the spots where the sunroof drains and maybe on the wheel well

Finished designing my two options, everything will be hidden with the exception of the two rear control panels

I'd probably look at hanging a metal battery box underneath by the frame somewhere. Generally not a good idea to have a large battery inside the passenger compartment for safety reasons. I've worked on a good number of ambulances that had aux batteries un a metal box underneath. Pain in the rear to pull it down, especially without a lift though.

I chose the interior location as I didn't think a Fully Sealed AGM would be an issue compared to a Lead acid type, thanks for the input.
