I had a similar issue on my 09 thanks to daylight savings time. When I would set my clock back an hour, every time I turned it off and got back in it would default to the previous time. I tried to hidden menu, which started giving me all kinds of strange times… And then I realized that the minutes never changed it was always only the hour! So I change my clock in the main menu again and this time I took about 10 minutes off. When I got back in the time was still lined up with my recent change. So I think I figured it out! It seems like maybe you have to change the hour and minutes to make the radio store the time.

Hopefully this will help someone else that comes across the same problem
