Default 2006 h2

Very strange shifter and tranny all shift properly only thing is when I put it in neutral it says park on the dash but it is in neutral put in all other gears fine indicator light will not show neutral it passes it up and says park shifting great running great neutral will not light up on dash

probably a bad range selector / neutral switch on the transmission

on the side of the transmission behind the shift lever. black module on the shaft of the arm.

Ok did this happen to yours or you just know about this .I know it's not a big deal that the dash doesn't go to N the shifter is right and N is N on the ttanny all the other grates lite right .Is it a major ioeration and is the part hard to get thanks

that switch tells the cluster what gear it is in so it controls what you see on the dash. hard? maybe as you have to remove the range selector arm to pull it off. has it happened to me no but i did have to replace the range selector arm because of a shift link bushing issue and sheared the nut off the transmission. cost me 500$ to have the shaft replaced at a transmission shop. the part was cheap but the labour was like 460 bucks

Bronx tech ok I know exactly what you mean now last year I had to replace that plastic bushing that holds the cable on the gear selector is right behind that on the cable itself right

yes it is right behind that arm
