2003 H2 … my center brake light (roof mounted) does not work. Can the bulbs be changed or does the whole assembly need to be replaced? Also, how is it removed? I unscrewed the screws but it still won’t lift out. I am hesitant to muscle it … am I missing something?

 

You have to also take the plastic piece off underneath the light because that's how you unplug the grommet and disconnect the light. I believe the light is both screwed in and 3M taped on. I replaced my entire assembly with an LED rather than trying to fix the original one.
