THE CENTER CONSOLE lid OF MY 08 H2 will not latch. It closes, all the parts look to be there. Seems like the lid does not go down far enough for the latch to catch on the plastic edge of the console.

Is there a fix, this looks like it is probably common.

check your hinge to see if it is bent and make sure all the screws on the lid are tight. maybe it will make up the difference you seek. or the latch is worn.

 

can you get some pics of the underside so we can see it, I can compare to mine
