the other day i was putting around on a dirt road in my hummer h2 racing my buddy on a dirtbike just messing around didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary didn’t hear anything it was driving perfect then we get to my buddy’s house after putting around for maybe 5 minutes i put it in park and get out randomly about a minute after i got out it started steaming out of the hood as soon as i could i popped the hood and let it breath it stopped after about a minute of smoking then it started leaking red under the iron H2 logo under the front of the truck i looked at my radiator fluid and i could see the tubes can someone please help me i’m in high school and don’t know that much about vehicles

 

could be anything. your going to have to go in there and check it as we have no clue what happened as we cant see your truck from here. look for disconnected or broken hoses. check your radiator for obvious leaks, check the coolant resivour and its hoses, check your water pump. if it is oil that leaked and not coolant then check your transmission fluid. it also is red.

 

Leaking red sounds like transmission fluid. Might have broken one of the transmission cooler lines that go from the trans to the passenger side of the radiator.
