Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
After taking the dash apart and exposing the vents, I noticed that the driver and passenger side have some type of an insert/sensor plugged in to the vents. Does anyone know what these are called or have a part number? Discovered these when I was removing the door blend actuator; the one that people can't get to (well I was able to remove it without cutting or damaging anything in the process). Just curious what these are and what their function is. Thanks.
I suppose this is the culprit that's causing hot air blowing on the drivers side. The cracked gear. This is located on the passenger side bottom near the center console. Let's see if I can get a replacement part as opposed to paying over a hundred for a new part.
