Default New H1 Owner, in NY Artic Temps CRANKY START need advice

hey there I was wondering if anyone in the community had anything to offer. Went out to start after filling up both things yesterday, would not turn over, switched from auxiliary back to Maine just to see, and gave the pedal of pump after a few failed attempts. Then I kept allowing the ignition to warm the plugs, after the third or fourth attempt, she turned over, but was a bit cranky so at first I thought well maybe I need to start plugging her in
Then I questioned the weight of the oil.SAE 15W-40 was put in by the dealer before i picked up last week

🤷‍♀️

Current oil change was last week

15-40 is correct. Batteries fully charged? Glow plugs good? I always plug in my block heater when it gets cold.

all the joys of being a new parent! Yep pretty sure I didn't have that toggle switch centered just right !! figured you would all get a good laugh! I have her plugged in now Marc I don't honestly know if I did not have those toggles in the correct position from the night before as it was 11° when I was coming home and I had to adjust for all of that, as all of you know. if I had to guess, operator error was the factor here !

Default plugged in now

I thought the same thing when I couldn't get her to turnover initially the first morning of super cold weather. I noticed having to turn the ignition four times allowed the plugs to heat up and realize the air of my way and then come to find out there's some online research, they are absolutely cranky and prefer to be plugged in, so thank you so very much for your amazing input!

I will be sure to share any future trial by fire experiences 🤣🤣🤣

me and Violet 🙏🤦‍♀️🥳🤩

have always wanted to own an H one and have been a former owner and still on an H2. I cannot believe I found this beautiful, exquisite garage cap vehicle with low miles and such terrific shape for the price that I did! So Grateful! Thank you so much for the advice, I now have it plugged in, and she starts right up!!
