Looking for basic info on a H1 ... i found a 1996 H1 with a new 6.5 motor. but not too sure what to look at , where the issues are with these trucks... i currently own a 2004 f350 with a 6L with some mods and i know its not going to be as fast but hell its a H1... Any thing i should try to find or what to stay away from would help...

 

96 isn't a bad year for the H1. If you have a new motor ( TD or NA ) that is another item in its favor. The 96 year model has an HVAC system that isn't real good. Interior parts are getting hard to find and expensive. If possible have an experienced H1 mechanic check it out for you. If not try to get an H1 owner to look at the truck for you. Where is the truck located?

 

Damn are you gonna sell your powerstroke? You'll miss it. Mark my words. I sold my 6spd powerstroke for a Jaguar and even though I had a Jaguar, I missed the hell outta my PSD.
