H2 is still relevant in pop culutre
I doubt most of you watch anime here (japanese animation), but I found this slightly shocking.
Whoever was writing the story board must have specifically wanted a Hummer H2 SUT. They did damn good job, from the body, to the boob vents, shifter, & rear view mirrors. I know it's a pre-2008, but couldn't tell you which of the 3 years it is.
I thought you guys would enjoy seeing this. Over here, you rarely seem them in the media, but apparently, it's still considered an icon elsewhere & I'm proud they put one in there!
Just to make a note, this series is currently being aired in Japan & this episode came out there a day or 2 ago. It's so nice to see "new" hummer stuff in 2015.

Looks like an 06-07 judging by the mirrors. It's amazing how Hummers are vilified here in the US; but overseas, they're very desirable and well respected. Just more proof that if people looked beyond the stereotypes and negative media portrayals, they would see the merit in the Hummer brand.

What is the title of the animation? I can check.
I see H2 once in a while in Tokyo. I don't remember if I have seen any SUT in Tokyo. Not many people are paying much attention to H2s there. It is considered as just one of american car. If you ask them if they like H2, probably response will be neutral or rather negative side due to gas consumption. Gas price in Japan is aprox 4 times higher than US.
Anyway, the animation creator already converted the SUT to be a right hand wheel car to meet Japanese standard. Great.

Seraph of the End.
It's currently being aired in Japan. I just get the fan subs. I have no clue if the H2 SUT was in the manga itself, or if they simply adapted the H2 to be more modern.
Just for the record, I've never seen an anime with a steering wheel on the left side. Everything is Japan-centric.
