I think I might have that popping, from the skid plate, sound when turning the 2 in a parking lot....I mostly notice it when I'm turning to the left. I don't feel it anywhere, but hear a pop/clunk sound. I just started to notice it and was wondering if teflon washers on the skid plate will get rid of the noise? Any other tricks anyone knows of???

 

Just make sure all the bolts are there, and they are tight.

 

I too have the same exact problem. 2 weekends ago a buddy and I went riding in a local creek, and right after I heard that sound. I tightened all the skid plate bolts, but it didn't help. You can only hear it from a dead stop, turning either way, when driving under 10 miles an hour. Feels like I am driving a beater car.....lol. Any other issues it could be?
