Trailer brake question

Trailer brake question
Been doing some reading on installing a trailer brake system and all seem very simple except one thing.
It is the plug and play part. It is plug and play only if you have no additional lights.
I have those and of course those are powered with the socket where one plugs in the trailer brake.
Any solution for this?
Can the lights be plugged in to an other socket?
Or is the best solution to crawl under the dash and switch them out in case I have to pull a trailer?
