I've been searching for hours looking for this harness in my 08 Alpha with hitch package from the factory. It's supposed to be tied to courtesy light which it is not! I'm trying to connect P3 trailer brake controller. I've searched the forum but can't find info on 08 with hitch package. Does anyone know the actual location?? HELP!!

 

Are you talking about the wires to hook up an aftermarket trailer brake controller? The wires should be where you described. Do you have a flashlight, getting you back on the drivers side floor and shoving you head under the dash. The top of your head pressing on the brake peddle. The sterring column about 4 inches above your nose. Tilt your head to the left. You should be looking at the floor coutesy light. Follow the wires to the light up to a bigger wire bundle. The wires should be right there. If not, see if they got wrapped with black tape.
