Default H2 backup camera question

Hey all. I looked at a 2006 H2 that had the back up camera display in the navigation display. Was this factory or after market? The nav screen looked factory HUMMER. So did all 2006 H2's come with a backup camera when you had the navigation touch screen/
Thanks

My 06 has a back up camera that slides out of the rear view mirror. I bet there is an aftermarket part added to make that happen.

The std Nav system did not have a back up camera integrated into the Nav screen. '08 and '09's had this but not the earlier ones as they had the screen that slides out from the review mirror.

I have my '06 sales brochure and back up cameras were not even listed as an option and I think were only offered on the limited editions.

I bought the nav screen backup system for my 05 H2 back in the fall of 05. It came with the camera (which is mounted at the top of the license plate bracket), all wiring and the interface module for the nav screen. It included directions and I installed it in one afternoon. Works great. You can wire it either with a switch to activate the picture or by wiring it to the transmission so when you put it in reverse the camera picture comes up. I chose the switch option so I can view the back-up view any time I wanted. I think I paid about $400 for the system.
