Undercarriage pics/questions
New owner have a few questions about shocks etc. front seems fine rear rides like the shocks are steel poles with no cushion whatsoever. Took a few pics during a brake job yesterday just wanted some input. These can’t be original shocks correct? Doesn’t look like anyone lifted this or anything
thanks in advance

Shocks should be considered a wear item. In general, a shock absorber can last at about 50,000 miles or 6 years. Remember that depends on your use, roads, driving style, etc.
No OffRoad, stick with the OEM shocks for your specific HUMMER suspension. There are several different suspension options for H3/H3Ts so make sure you get the shocks tuned to your rig.
OffRoad and OnRoad. I have tried so many different shocks in the past 10 years on 6 different H3/H3TS. A lot of shocks! I have to say that the best all around shocks are the Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Sport Shock Absorbers.
ARB bought OME so now they are called ARB Sport Shocks. Still made in Australia by OME. 4wheel parts usually has them I stock for immediate shipment.
ARB Sport Shock - 60045 rears
ARB Sport Shock - 90001 fronts
