$360/3 yrs is the best rate they're advertising right now

I'll take the $77/1 yr if I can get it, no family plan here (not sure what that is), just the one radio
interesting.... I just logged on and my rate is
Radio: NCW9M0H6
XM Family Plan Service - 5 Years - $419.40

that is for my work van which alsohas XM traffic and Weather...

that comes out to 83.88 for something that is supposed to be
XM NavTraffic and XM radio combined: $12.95 radio plus $3.99 NavTraffic = $16.94 per month.

I think I will just shut up now and realize I'm getting a great deal...

I don't get any family plan rates advertised on the website, says you need to call them; it doesn't matter anyhow, i'll never have more than one radio and don't need traffic management because I don't have a commute (live/work in the city)

so XM probably isn't a big deal to you anyway.... you can probably always keep your favorite in tune, right?

If you can get some people you know that have it you can get the family plan... One account up to 5 radios... Make one payment and then worry about it in 3,4,5 years...

I'm still contemplating the XM thing. I had Sirius for almost 2 years and I personally think that it was easier to navigate aroung the stations. BUT, either way I think that you have so many more choices on XM/Sirius than you'll ever have on the local dial. Probably will get it just to keep listening to my FOX NEWS . Plus I don't have to listen to the stupid morning shows.

I just got the three year XM for like $319 or something like that. I love it, but some stations sound like they are in a tin can. I think it is just crappy compression they use, I've learned to live with it, anyone esle have that issue with XM.

I've had Sirius radio for over 3 years with my son and three of his buddies. I prefer Sirius over XM and I will not renew my 3 month XMtrial when it expires. In fact I've been told that I can have my XM radio switched over to Sirius just by changing a module. I asked my dealer and he didn’t want anything to do with it probably because they are under contract with XM radio. Has anyone considered switching their radio to Sirius or even heard of doing so?
