Hello all! My wife and I bought an 07 h3 adventure almost a year ago now and we are finding out that the former owner did some funky wire work behind the after market stereo they put in. Yesturday while trying to install an Ipod dock for my daughter the radio stopped working for some reason then I looked at the dic and saw ABS fault,Traction failure,shift lock wasn't working and the four wheel drive controls didn't work and to top it off it wouldnt start! So after looking at all the fuses, I found that the #5 ignition fuse had blown so, I started scratching my head as I changed the fuse and decided to pull the stereo and what I found I couldn't believe. Wires are cut and not taped, looks like they tapped into the ignition wire for power,stereo does not work on acc power.Door chime was in three piece's, Onstar mirror has no power,wire is cut on one of the power ports and that just after a quick look. We are leaving this Friday for a 12 day vacation in Va. and Ocean city so I'm packing xtra fuses to take along.
When I get back I would like to figure out whats going on with the wireing and install the stereo correctly so here comes my question. Does anyone know where I could find a diagram of the wires behind the stereo and for onstar? When we bought the truck we also got a 3 yesr 36000 mile warranty put we were told that the aftermarket items are not covered under the plan,YEA!!!

 

This may or may not help you, But since all our H3's are dismantled i can see what is behind the radio/dash etc ...

 

Thanks but, thats not really going to help. I need the color coded diagram so I can see what goes where. Looks like the wiring is all the same .
