H3 Woes.
Team,
My steering wheel is still off center after bringing it into the dealer for this issue. Paper work stated that the toe was off so they fixed the toe but nothing in regards to the position of the steering wheel. How many of us out there have their steering wheel off center from the get go? Does it bother you?
Also, they resurfaced my rear brake rotors per TSB. Now, the rig creaks during low speed at about 20mph in the neighborhood. Tire cover is on tight and nothing seems loose. Any ideas? Is the creaks the price to pay fora Hummer?
Thanks!

I agree with Impy.... the steering centering is usually pretty easy if your alignment is straight...
Do you think the rear brakes are dragging?? or is it just the old brake pads on resurfaced rotors.... if it is the latter driving slowly down the street with the e brake on a little will take care of that in no time....

Please, do tell how to center the steering wheel. I just got my H3 back from getting the steering rack replaced and the steering wheel is slightly off. I would like to fix it myself rather than taking it back to the dealership.

steering wheel centering is an easy adj....should take you 10 minutes if you want to do it yourself.

I can use a how-to on the steering wheel. It is off to the left about 2-5 mm or how ever you wouldmeasure it.
