Okay I promise this is my last thread with questions!

I have a 96 6.5l TD wagon, and it will not start, I bought it this way and have spend the past week trying to get it to start.

The car cranks, but will not start. Here is what I have already done/tired:
-Replaced fuel pump and filter
-Getting 8lbs of fuel
-Added 2 gallons of diesel to the car
-Replaced the fuse numbered 40 (big yellow fuse)
-Getting fuel everywhere except injectors
-Charged both batteries fully
-And did a few other things and it still won't start!

If you have any suggestions please let me know, I want to get this thing on the road!

 

Have u checked the PMD? Pump Mounted Driver. It is the "brains" of ur injector pump. It is mounted to the driver side of the inj pump, a black box with a harness coming out of the back of it. It is extremely prone to failure because it isn't suppose to get above 150 deg. F. And since it is attached to an already very hot inj pump AND tucked down into the valley of the motor, it is obviously a bone head design flaw by GM. Check out the replacement one with a heat sink from SS diesel performance on the web. They were about the chaepest I found. Part number SSD-001. About $400. Also email Walt over there. He is the owner and tech-y that knows these motors and trucks inside and out. VERY VERY knowledgable and willing to help. Good people! Good luck.
