I recently put in a performance cam and now that the engine is back together it will start and run when the engine is cold. when it is cold it cranks for a while before firing. once it is up to operating temp it looses power and stalls out and wont start again with out starting fluid. If i spray a little starting fluid it starts. i replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, ignition coil and the distributor. when doing the cam i installed new plugs and wires and dist cap and rotor. pls help.

 

Could be a timing issue. I rebuilt a small dirt bike once that was doing the same thing after I put it back together. I ended up having the can gear off by one tooth
