Well, of course it will fit by size but are the connections, mounts, wiring etc going to match up to the 3.5 L 2006 model. I cannot find this info anywhere. Anybody know if 08 h3 engines will bolt into 06 H3 with minimum problems?

first guess is that the pcm will be lookin for the old engine since it was programmed for it.what it would do with a different one,??
might even be different connectors. lots of stuff going on in the computer!

 

This engine comes with the 08 PCM so I think it will come down to wire harness etc. I do not know much about this area at all. Thanks for your reply. Hopefully more will chime in as well.

I agree. Hard to search for things on this board. If someone wants a quick answer, then this thread is one simple question where the other post has several questions. Maybe I can just delete this thread or edit when answer is found. Maybe I got a bit too impatient, yes. :-)
