I have a 2007 H3 with 63K miles on it. Was driving home last night and all of a sudden, my transmission gave out. I was cruising along at 45 mph and my RPMs revved really high. I pulled over and now it is being towed to the dealership. I tried shifting after I stopped and it just grinded through reverse and low gear.

Anybody ever had this problem or have any information? Guess I will find out tomorrow if my extended warranty will cover this.

So it turns out that my drive shaft sheared as well as my right axle prop. Luckily I purchased the GMPP extended warranty and all was covered, including the courtesy car from the dealership. My hat's off to the knoxville Hummer / Cadillac dealership. They really took care of me on this issue in a timely manner.
