Wife naggin me about new SUV...need options
I told her last night it was unanimous, she was getting the GMC Acadia. Actually it worked out good, she kinda talked herself into it. I wish it came in a Denali package, but oh well. Now the ball is in my court to buy it and bring it home. GMC wins!![sm=groupwave.gif]
Thanks guys, now can you go buy it for me and drop it off at the house.

Ok today is the day. I ended up doing all of the work for the dealer. He didn't have the exact car my wife wanted, color and options, so I found one for him and negotiated the selling price over the phone last night. Basically told him if he could have the car on the lot today, I would buy it today. Easy sale for him. Here was my logic on the price, after some research on the vehicle.
Invoice of vehicle with options $41,000 +/-
Dealer hold back- $1,000 +/-
Dealer cost 40,000 +/-
Dealer profit 6% 2,500 +/-
Selling price 42,500 +/-
Less rebates- 1,500
Total price of new car$41,000 Less trade plus TTL.
We agreed over the phone last night to $41,500 less trade plus TTL. All I need to do is confirm the car is what we want and sign the papers today. Very painless, but we will see if he tries to throw any curve ***** at me before I sign the papers. MSRP was just over $46,000.
I'll let you know how things go and post a few pics...

I already have a price($7,000) thats good for thirty days from a used car dealer with no obligation to purchase. Thats why I want him on record for the agreed upon car price first, then if he tries to screw me on the trade, i'll keep it and sell it to the other guy. I am sure it will not go as easy when we get down to finalizing everything and I don't want to get screwed on the sales tax for keeping the trade and selling to the other guy. I'd go as low as 6,500 on the trade to finalzie the deal and help with the sales taxes. Should be fun.
