I have an 05 with about 80k miles... I know the right answer is to get new wheels, but I can't swing the money right now. The inside of the wheels (the barrel) is all peeling off, it looks like a very thin layer of aluminum. cosmetically I don't care, but the bigger pieces that are peeling are starting to rub which is annoying. Are there any products anyone is aware of that I can apply once I peel off all the loose pieces? Thanks

 

Peel the loose chrome off, scuff it up with some sandpaper and then buy a can of clear spray paint and paint the inside of the wheel.
