West Covina Hummer Happening Part 2
I added a few more pics.
P.S. West Covina Hummer fixed the tie rod for the H3 that broke and in a few hours, he was back on the trail with the rest of us.

Its amazing what google can find. Axel is a bit different than a tie rod. I would expect a tie rod. But the pictures shows a axel.

I asked the same question. I have a guy in an H1 wanting to go on some real easy trails for his first off road trip and that place looks perfect. Gorman has been suggested but he wanted to try somewhere closer.

Your right guys, the H3 broke an axle not a tie rod, which is even worst, and they still got him going in a few hours. I’m sure that one guy wishes he would have gotten the rear axle locks now.
The place we went too is called the San Gabriel Canyon OHV Area, it’s about 25/30 minutes north of Azusa. It’s closed to the public right now. They haven’t been releasing too much water from the dam so about 2/3 of the entire OVH area is under water. The ranger told us it’s been closed for the past month and a half. Hopefully they open it up soon.
