Well not dry yet
Well I replaced all but one door seal and the a pillar where it meets the had liner is still getting damp. I am almost certain it’s the door seal not making a good seal. The reason I say this is because I sealed the cab lights and the sunroof drains are clear I’m sure. I guess I will use a weather stripping adhesive and install the door seal next and see if that does it. Any thoughts on this horse that’s been bet to death?
On the roof lights, you sealed the big (no longer soft) rubber grommets that the wires go through on the corner lights too I assume. Possible the roof body seam under the roof rail system or the windshield sealant are leaking. Both are somewhat uncommon but not unheard of. I've had both.... There are a few threads on here where other have fully removed the roof rail system to clean and reseal the body seams on the roof. I've did it a few years back, bit of a project but not terribly hard. Body weather stripping above the doors will generally only cause the floors to get wet, no so much the headliner.
Agree with MixMan here. I sealed all of my cab lights, as well as installed the inner cab seal. I even sealed the windshield the best I could. I then checked my roof body seem and found a very small fracture in the seam. I sealed liberally this area with RTV and no leak.
If I were to do it again I would take my time and redo the entire side with a good seem sealer and not RTV. But my roof is dry now.
Good luck,
Kevin

You may have sealed the cab lights on the bottom, but often the housing is cracked on top or loose from its black plastic trim in the middle ones. That can cause water to get in.
The dealer of all people sealed mine with silicone Then it started leaking again. One separated in half as I was prying it from the roof. Needless to say, I didn't use silicone again. what a b*tch. I got some wide weather stripping from lowes and cut it out to shape. Mine was cracked but not leaking through the top, only around the edge where it meets the plastic trim and i siliconed that.

Thanks guys for the ideas. I’m not sure where it’s coming from but I need it fixed before I install a new headliner. I am going to take the inside plastic pillars off and pour water on the outside and see if I can find it that way. Only thing is I’m gonna have to wait for it to warm up some. No garage.

Well got out today and done some exploration on where my water leak is coming from. After taking the headliner down some what above the A pillar I found the drip of water which at first looked to be the windshield was not sealed but after further examination I think it’s the seam where the body is welded together. So now onto the remedy for this leak is to take the roof racks off and see if I can narrow it down even more and if it’s the seam that others have also found to be the problem of the leak I will use a seam filler to fix the leak if that is indeed the problem. I do have a question can auto seam sealer be applied over the paint? And as of now I have found it to be the windshield leaking or the body in a seam. I am leaning towards the body seam but not 100% as of yet. But I am getting closer I feel.
The seam sealer appears to be identical to light gray-colored or white urethane caulk available in Home Depot. That one can be applied over paint, as long as the paint is well-bonded to its surface. Cleanup with mineral spirits before it sets up. Also used for smoothing out the urethane surface when dabbed liberally on your nitrile gloves and surface. Keeps the urethane from sticking to your fingers. Easy, fast, and cheap fix.
or you can go to a bodyshop and pay more.
Make sure to paint over top of the sealer once FULLY cured + a few days. That keeps the urethane from weathering.

Any luck finding your leak with the headliner out?
