Default Vibrations pulling trailer

Is anyone else getting front end virbrations in the floor boards, like by the gas and brake peddles, when accelerating up hill, it starts off really hard virbation, and then lessens a little but still noticeable, still the truck revs back down to 2100 instead of the 5000 going up hill, it does it with the empty trailer 1200pounds and full 5000pounds, I contacted onstar they ran a check going up hill while i was feeling it, and everything came back negative

I haven't had any problem at all with that. might be dumb but are you running trailer tires on the trailer and not car tires? Car tires will vibrate and flex making the vibration carry up through the hitch and into your truck. Almost all trailer vibrations will be felt in the front suspension (that's been my experiance) I would check 3 things if I were you

1. Trailer tires, make sure they are trailer tires and the PSI is very important here!
2. Check your trailer hub bearings and make sure they are not racing (slight grind) Regrease and pack the hubs.
3. Check your tongue weight, if your trailer is to far forward near the hitch the tongue weight will increse and call swaying and sometimes could vibrate the truck.

any vibration caused in the trailer will always travel up the hitch which is connected to the frame of the truck, so you will feel it in the truck itself. I would guess it's a racing hub bearing. They will cause vibrations like crazy when they start to go, or when the grease dries up in the hubs. Try packing the crap out of the hubs with a good wheel bearing grease and see if it helps.

I have the vibrations also from the gas pedals and floorboards but I don't pull a trailer. I just took it in for the 4th time to see what the dealer says. They keep tellimg me it's normal but they have replaced transfer case( as it had meta shavings in it) and the rear end as it had the factory recall ( truck bought in August 05). At this point I'm thinking lemon law but I have to look into it.

I am pulling an horse trailer very often. no vibs at all.

have checked the tires? not only the PSI .When heavily loaded if you have a 'flat' on one tire the trailer will vibrate.
