I made the unfortunate mistake of letting a friend borrow my H2, and when they came back, the rear hatch would not open because a rag got caught in the mechanism on one side of the door. Its somewhat open, but solidly closed. I pull the handle and it will not open. Any ideas how I might be able to get this open???

 

I had that happen already.... the only way I got it open was with brute force.... I had one person hold the hanle open and I put 200lbs into it from the inside....

I also had one of the kids lodge their seatbelt on a side door already.... so that took some force also...

 

thanks, thats exactly what we did. I thought we were going to pull the door off the hinges, but it did finally come lose.
