I came across this link: Click me!

I don't believe the factory uses anything besides a gasket, right?
There seems to be sealers for this purpose if you want to go that route, but it doesn't seem to be necessary. Check the torque. Over or under-tightening could cause a leak.

OH I SEE! Literacy is such an important thing, lol.

So it's the thread on the fittings that's partially stripped? Well, I'd assume teflon would work, but be careful that it doesn't get into any part of the transmission. That could become an expensive thing to fix.

If you can hold off, get some fittings that fit properly. I'd deal with slight leaks for a bit & do it right the first time. I'd hate to hear a $40ish problem becoming $1000s.

Brushing a little liquid teflon pipe sealant on the threads will likely cure the leak if the threads are not stripped. Permatex makes a good product that you can get a NAPA or Carquest.

So far is not leaking anymore , I just re-torque the fittings ..
Btw anyone doing this be very careful while installing the fittings you need to use another wrench on the cooler aluminum nut or this will be twisted
Why do I know it happens .. Guess what

Torque specs matter, apparently!
Hopefully, it stays leak free.

Mind posting a pic of the work?
