Why didn't you buy the adventure Tcase? They are the same price.

 

Mostly because the fact that if anything goes wrong with the new t case, it has a 36 month 100,000 mile warranty and I don't want that voided or negated over a technicality that it was purchased as a part not compatible with my VIN.

 

Final update: Relieved to say the never-ending transfer case issue is... over. Got a few quotes to have the new transfer case installed and a local shop was able to do it in a few hours for hundreds of dollars less than the dealers. Everything is back to normal and the H3 drives perfectly.
